DECISION

I approached the rebranding from afar - I made a mindmap: it turned out to be a large document that contains almost all aspects - from researching the experience of the shelter's development, to celebrating Animal Day (November 30).

In the new logo I decided to combine two ideas: continuity and universality.

First, I kept the symbol of the shelter - a ginger cat - in the sign, which represents the history of the institution. After that it was decided that the ginger cat would become a brand character. In the font part, I combined Russian and English: this will make the name easy for all people to understand.

Unfortunately, Krasnoyarsk has big problems with ecology. The shelter under the gray sky has long wanted to add colors. Choosing corporate colors, I decided on a palette of bright shades, the main one being rich blue. in which saturated blue became the main one.

For the past three years I have been providing free social media support for a cat shelter in Krasnoyarsk. This project has become for me not only a part of my professional activity, but also a part of my life.

During this time I have seen the shelter grow and develop thanks to the love and care of many people. My small role in this is to provide the shelter with a beautiful and attractive presence on social media.

Over these three years, the illustration style I create for the shelter has undergone a change. It has become warmer and more gentle, reflecting the heartwarming and caring nature that the shelter imparts to its animals. The color palette has become softer, more muted, which adds to the coziness and comfort of the shelter's content.
